Ancient greek sculptors sometimes created cast sculptures from ________, an alloy of copper and tin.

They created cast sculptures from bronze. It was more convenient, as the bronze would stay liquid for a longer time than copper. Many famous sculptures were made in this way: Euphranor's "Arthemis", "Zeus" from Artemisium,  "Charioteer" from Delphi, "Athena" from Piraeus, etc.
