The density of blood is 1.05 kg/m3, find the mass of a bag of blood for a transfusion, if the volume is 2.0 m3.

Answer: M = 2.10kg

Explanation: We know that the density of blood is d = 1.05 kg/m^3

This means that each m^3 of blood weighs 1.05kg

So in 2m^3 of blood, the mass will be two times the one that we had before.

M = 2*1.05kg = 2.10kg

This also can be calculated as:

M = 2m^3*1.05kg/m^3 = 2.10kg*(m^3/m^3) = 2.10kg
