Umm, I'm not sure in order, but he did become a Muslim, making many of the Islamic religious trading areas like him and comply to trade with him. And when he went on the huge travel, or Mecca, he distributed gold flakes to all of Cairo, almost obliterating the economy. When everyone had gold, it made the quality of the the gold go down. Almost a decade after he visited Cairo, their economy was still coping with what he did.
