To how many sig figs or decimal places? Could use 1735 if rounded to 2 significant figures (2sf)

1735 is the answer to your problem because 1 is in the 1000 place, 7 is in the 100 place, 3 is in the 10 place, and 5 is in the 1 place which would round to 1700
