On a number line, the coordinate of point Q is -6. The length of PQ is 15. Give two possible coordinates for point P.

Because the length of PQ is 15, that means that P is 15 spots away from Q. So we can go back 15 by subtracting 15 from -6 to get -21 and we can go forward 15 by adding 15 to get 9.

Answer: -21, 9
