boys:girls=8:7
girls is 7 units

girls are 56 people

56=7units
divide both sides by 7
8=1unit

boys=8 units
8=1unit
times both sides by 8
64=8units

there are 64 boys

There would be 64 boys, 56/7=8 so you would have to multiple 8 by 8, which equals 64
