(18)/(24)=

((2)(3)(3))/((2)(2)(2)(3))=

((2)/(2))((3)/(3))((3)/((2)(2))=

(1)(1)((3)/(4))=

(3)/(4)

the \space\ simplified \space\ ratio \space\ will \space\ be \space\ 3:4

This can be written as a fraction 18/24.

First, we find the GCF, which is basically the largest number that is divisible by both numbers. For this set of numbers, it will be 6.

Then we divide the numerator and denominator by 6.
18/6 is 3.
24/6 is 4
The ratio (or fraction) will be 3:4.
