that makes angle b 90-25 or 65 degrees

so

ok, sin=oposite side/hytpohuse
cos=adjscent/hypotonuse
tan=oposite/adjacent


sin(c)=y/3
cos(c)=x/3

we can multiply both sides by 3 to get
3sin(c)=y
3cos(c)=x
use your calculator and c=25 degrees (set your calculator to degrees or use 5pi/36 radians)

3sin(25°)≈1.26785=y
3cos(25°)≈2.71892=x

rounded to nearest tenth

the slide is 1.3ft tall and covers 2.7ft on the ground
