1 Furlong ( fur ) = 40 Rods
1 Furlong ( fur ) = 110 Fathoms ( fat )
22 * 40 = 880
22 * 110 = 2,240
Answer:
The Kentucky derby distance is
( a ) 880 Rods
( b ) 2,240 Fathoms.
