18-3*x<-90

subtract 18 from both sides to get -3x<-108

divide by -3 to get x>36. We changed the inequality because we divided or multiplied by a negative number

18-3x <-90
X>36
Remember when you divide by a negative number in an inequality, the alligator decides to switch meals, making the sign switch.
