CQ = 21
CM = 17

MQ = CQ - CM = 21 - 17 = 4

Answer:

The length of mq is 4 units.

Explanation:

Given :m is between points c and q.

cm = 17 and cq = 21

To Find : what is mq?

Solution:

Refer the attached figure

Length of cq = 21

m divides the line into two parts i.e. cm and mq

This means cm+mq=cq --1

Length of cm= 17

Substitute the values in 1 to get the value of mq

17+mq=21

mq=21-17

mq=4

Hence the length of mq is 4 units.

M is between points c and q. cm = 17 and cq = 21. what is mq?-example-1
