Solve for W; H = E + W

Subtract W to both sides

H - W = E + W - W

We get

H - W = E

Move H to the right of equal with changed sign

-W = E - H

Make the W positive, multiply for -1 all the terms

W = -E + H (or you can write W = H - E)<- Answer
