You have to substitute in your answers. So replace g with one in the equation and H for for in the equation.
It would then look like this :
4g + 5h
4 x 1 + 5 x 4
5 + 20
Answer: 25

so pretty much, 4g is 4 times g right? taking this into consideration, replace g with x1 and h with x4. Then you get 4 x 1 + 5 x 4. Since you're always supposed to multiply and then add (left to right), it would equal 4 + 20 which is 24. Good luck on your test.
