if we take 47.65 to be the 100%, how much is 100% + 20% or 120% of that then?

\bf \begin{array}{ccll} amount&\%\\ \text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}&\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}\\ 47.65&100\\ x&120 \end{array}\implies \cfrac{47.65}{x}=\cfrac{100}{120}\implies \cfrac{47.65\cdot 120}{100}=x
