subsitute 2 for x
assuming you mean f(x)=x²+1
remember order of operaions, exponents before addition
f(2)=(2)²+1
f(2)=4+1
f(2)=5
f(2)=5
answer is 5

f(x) = x² + 1
f(2) = (2)² + 1 = 4 + 1 = 5
Hence, the answer is 5.
