x^2 -3x + 2x -6
x^2 - 1x - 6

(x+2) (x-3)
First, distribute the X to X and -3
Then distribute the 2 to X and -3
you get
x squared -3x +2x -6
Combine like terms and your answer is
X squared -X -6
