Do molecules move in a solid substance?  Make sure you support your answer with good reasons and examples.

molecules in all thing move weather it be a solid or a liquid. the molecules in a liquid are far apart and move slow. the molecules in a solid are tightly packed and continuously vibrate. you can put your hand through water but you cannot put your hand through a steel beam.

Yes, the molecules do move. Although you can't tell, they are always moving. This is because the molecules have little energy. When they have little energy, they move slower. I hope this helps! :)
