Solve for variable, y:
2+1/6y=3x+4
Subtract 2 from both sides.
(2+1/6y)-2=(3x+4)-2
1/6y=3x+2
Divide both sides by 1/6.
(1/6y)/ 1/6=(3x+2)/ 1/6
y=18x+12

Hope this helps!

You need to get y to 1. So multiply everything by 6. The equation would be 12+y=18x+24. You need to get y by itself. So subtract 12 from both sides to get y=18x+12. The answer is y=18x+12. Hope this helps! ;)
