Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

As the gases are higher compressible in nature and turns into liquid under high pressure, like CNG which is compressed natural gas.

As we do scuba diving, we go a lot deeper into the sea hence a lot of pressure is applied on our lungs and we need extra oxygen.

So oxygen is compressed in scuba tank as to increase its amount in tank which can help to provide oxygen for a greater and longer time that filled normally.

More oxygen can be occupied in a tank through this technique of compression.

The oxygen in a scuba tank is compressed so that you can have more of the oxygen gas since the tank could hold more volume when oxygen is in liquid than when it exist as a gas. This would help you breath longer underwater.
