y=mx+b
m=slope
b=y intercept

ok, graph the y intercept first
at y=-9
so at y=-9 on the y axis, put a point
basically graph (0,-9)

then, use the slope
slope=rise/run=5/3
from (0,-9), go up 5 units and to the right 3 units and put a point there
you will have put a point at (3,-4)

connect the 2 points ((0,-9) and (3,-4)) and now you have graphed it
