remember, (ab)(cd)=(a)(b)(c)(d), so we can expand
also

(x^m)(x^n)=x^(m+n)

so

(2x^3)(5x^4)=(2)(x^3)(5)(x^4)=(2)(5)(x^3)(x^4)=(10)(x^(3+4))=10x^7

(2x^3)(5x^4)
= (2*5)(x^3*x^4)
= 10x^7
