draw a diagram
assuming you are directly over the base of the tree
we need to find the ratio between the adjacent angle and oposite angle
adjacent angle is the disatnce from frisbee to base of tree
oposite angle is 50ft
so
tan=oposite/adjacent
tan(60°)=50/?
?tan(60°)=50
?=50/tan(60°)
use your calculator
?≈28.8675
so about 29ft away from the base of the tree is the frisbee
