\bf \begin{cases} x=√(t)\implies x^2=\boxed{t}\\ y=2t+5\\ ----------\\ y=2\boxed{x^2}+5 \end{cases}

Answer:

y=2x^2+5

Explanation:

We have been given that

x=\sqrt t...(i)\\\\y=2t+5...(ii)

We have to eliminate the parameter t.

Squaring equation (i), we get

x^2=t

Substituting this value of t in equation (ii)

y=2x^2+5

On eliminating the parameter, we get the equation
y=2x^2+5
