Perimeter= 2(l+w)

32= 2((x+2)+7)
32= 2x+4+14
32= 2x+18
14= 2x
7=x

Final answer: x=7

P=2(L+W)

L=x+2
W=7
P=32

32=2(x+2+7)
32=2(x+9)
divide both sides by 2
16=x+9
minus 9 both sides
7=x
x=7 units
