Hi! =)
So, let's make up just some decimal.
Let's say that this decimal is 5.6.
Now, we're going to run this little decimal of ours through a series of trials, and we shall not stop till we move this decimal 2 spaces to the right!
We'll know when it is two spaces to the right when 5.6 is equal to 560. So, let's run them calculations...
A: 5.6 / 100 = 0.056. Nope, this won't be it...
B: 5.6 / 10 = 0.56. Nope, this again won't be it...
C: 5.6 * 100 = 560. This looks pretty good!
D: 5.6 * 10 = 56. Nope, this isn't 560.
So, after going through all those calculations - I think we can see what our answer will be here! =)
