8x + 2y = 4
-4x + 3y = -10....multiply by 2
--------------------
8x + 2y = 4
-8x + 6y = -20 (result of multiplying by 2)
-------------------add
8y = - 16
y = -16/8
y = -2

8x + 2y = 4
8x + 2(-2) = 4
8x - 4 = 4
8x = 4 + 4
8x = 8
x = 8/8
x = 1

solution is (1,-2)
