The answer is 5(x-3) = 50

Proof:

5(x-3) = 50
5(x) + (5)(-3) = 50 (distributive property a(b+c) = ab + ac)
5x + (-15) = 50 (integers. +/- = -)
5x - 15 = 50

Obtained by finding the GCF, which is 5, and then deciding what two terms end up with 5x and -15.
