How do you simplify 12+3(8+x)

This will be very similar to the last problem we did! =)

* original equation
12 + 3(8 + x)

* okay, we can't do anything in the parenthesis necessarily... but we can multiply the values by 3! (note, when you multiply things in the parenthesis, you must multiply EACH and EVERY number!)
12 + 24 + 3x

* now all we gotta do is add some fools, and we're simplified!

the final simplified awesome super nova cool amazing form is... 3x + 36! =)

= 3x + 36
