note: pie=pi=π

divide both sides by 4pi

(A)/(4\pi)=r^2
sqrt both sides

\sqrt{(A)/(4\pi)}=r

r=\sqrt{(A)/(4\pi)}

r=(√(A))/(√(4\pi))

r=(√(A))/(2√(\pi))
we need to rationalize the denomenator
multiply it by (√π)/(√π)

r=(√(A\pi))/(2\pi)
