Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. Also known as the Red Planet, Mars is covered in a layer of iron oxide prevalent, which looks like red dust, hence giving it it's nickname. Mars is not very big - it's smallest after Mercury in the solar system.

On any regular day, Mars could be -80°F, wow! However, during the summer, it could get up to 70°F, and during the winter, it could get down to -195°F.

As you can see, Mars, the Red Planet, is a small snowball of a planet.
