f(x) x^2 - 9
g(x) = 1/3 f(x)

y intercept:

f(x) = x^2 - 9
x = 0, y = - 9

g(x) = 1/ 3 f(x) = 1/3(x^2 - 9) = 1/3x^2 - 3
x = 0, y = -3

so y intercept :
f(x): -9
g(x) = -3

x intercept when y = 0
x^2 - 9 = 0
x^2 = 9
x =+3 and x = -3

g(x) = 1/3x^2 - 3 = 0
1/3x^2 = 3
x^2 = 3(3)
x^2 = 9
x = -3 and x = + 3
so g(x) also has x intercepts: -3 and 3

answer is A. first one.

f(x) x intercepts: -3 and 3
f(x): y intercept : -9
g(x) x intercepts: -3 and 3
g(x) y intercept : -3
