The nurse should teach the client the following strategies:
Leaving the bedroom when unable to sleep.
Counting backward from 100 to zero when his mind is racing and
Exercising in the afternoon rather than in the evenings.
These strategies are meant to calm the mind and to increase the possibility of sleeping.
