In the middle of the page draw an equilateral triangle with 2 inch sides and the bottom parallel to the bottom of the page. Solution:

Drawn an equilateral triangle of side 2 inches.

One side is parallel to Bottom of page.

Then from the center of the right side draw two parallel lines an inch apart and an inch long.

Then drawn a line from the end of one of the parallel lines to the end of the other parallel line.

The Arrow is pointing in East of South or South of East and North of West or West of North Direction.

Answer: the arrow is pointing 45° to the South of the West
