y=mx+b, m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1), b=y-intercept, value of y when x=0

m=(-8-10)/(-2-1)

m=-18/-3

m=6

y=6x+b, using (1, 10) we can solve for b

10=6(1)+b

10=6+b

4=b so the line is:

y=6x+4
