I need help. I don't know what i should start the story off with. Btw, I had a surprising encounter one day when I was feeding the ducks. They never used to come up to me and eat from my hand but one day, a white duck came up to my legs and ate from my hand. I was very happy when this happened other then the fact that my fingers starting hurting from how hard it was biting.

You should start with something like this:

I will always remember one of the most surprising encounters I've had in my entire life.

If that's too much, use this:

I can recall one very surprising encounter I've had before.
