If f(x)= 2x^2 -4x and g(x) = 5 – 2x, evaluate f(x) – g(x) for x = 5

you first plug in 5 for x in both equations...
(2(5)^2-4(5))=f(x)
5-2(5)=g(x)

now you evaluate...
(2(25)-20)-5-10
50-30-15
20-15=5
Answer:
5
