A home alarm system randomly assigns a six-character code for each customer. The code will not repeat a character. The characters are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, M, T, G, Y, or R. What is the total number of codes that can be randomly assigned?

Answer:

151200 could be another answer to another problem.

Their answer is correct, but if there was a 0 before the 1 in your question, it would be a complete different answer.

But to your question, the answer choices are A.) 1,320 B.) 95,040 C.) 9,540 D.) 11,880

Since order is important.

There are 10 characters, the total number of combinations is:

10!/4!=151200

Or if you prefer:

10*9*8*7*6*5=151200
