If the side of a cube is 5xy centimeters in length, what is the volume of the cube?

a=5xy (cm)

V=a³=(5xy)³=125x³y³ (cm³)

The formula for the volume of a cube is V = a³ when a = the length of one side.
So, if we say a = 5xy, then...
V = (5xy)³
V = 125x³y³

The volume of the cube is 125x
³y³ centimeters³
