Which phrase in this excerpt from a 1964 interview with Malcolm X indicates that he is explicitly stating an opinion? "I think all of us should be critics of each other. When you can't stand criticism you can never grow. I don't think that it serves any purpose for the leaders of our people to waste their time fighting each other needlessly."

The correct phrase is "I don't think that it..." :)

I believe that the phrase that indicates that Malcolm X is stating an opinion is given in two sentences, when he uses "I think..." and "I don´t think...".

The fact that he select the word think shows that he is validating the argument on his own opinion and not using other authors or references to make a point.

I hope that the answer and explanation are correct.
