2/3 x 14/6 is 1 5/9

23 × 146 = 23 × 7·23·2 = 23 × 73 = 2·73·3 = 149 = 5 + 1·99 = 159 and is about 1.5555555555555556

Hope I helped!

Multiply the numerators together (the product becomes the new numerator) and then multiply the denominators together (which becomes the new denominator). If you must, simplify.

2 * 14 = 28 -- numerator
3 * 6 = 18 -- denominator
28/18 = 14/9
