The answer is D because it is going in the negative direction so you then narrowed it down to B and D bud it would have to have a negative y-intercept since the highest point there on a 6 unit long number line up, down, left, and right, would be ( -7 , 0 )

m= -4 - (-2)/2-(-2)
= -4 + 2 / 2 + 2
= -2/4

Y= -2/4x + b

Sub (-2,-2)

-2= -2/4 (-2) +b
-2= 1 + b
b= -2-1
b= -3

Therefore
Y= -2/4x -3
