Inorder to have any point on the x axis, you would have to have a value of zero for the y coordinate correct? so the point that has a value of zero as it's y coordinante would be the x intercept. Making the answer (4/3,0)

Plug in y = 0 and solve for x
y = 3x-4
0 = 3x-4
0+4 = 3x-4+4
4 = 3x
3x = 4
3x/3 = 4/3
x = 4/3
When x = 4/3, the value of y is y = 0.
Therefore the x intercept is (4/3, 0)
The answer is choice C
