First number = x+2
Second number= x

2(x+2) = 3x - 4
2x + 4 = 3x - 4
-2x +4. -2x. +4
8 = x
First number is 10.
Second number is 8

Set an equation:
First number: x+2
Second number: x

2(x+2)+4=3x
2x+4+4=3x
8=x
