Answer:

Measurement of side b = 17.1

Explanation:

In a given triangle ABC, it is given a = 18.2, ∠B = 62° and ∠C = 48° and we have to find the measurement of b.

Now by Sine Rule

(sinB)/(b)=(sinA)/(a)

Here ∠C and ∠B are given so we can get the measurement of ∠A.

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

∠A + 62 + 48 = 180

∠A = 180 - 110 = 70°

Now we put these values in the sine rule.

(sin62)/(b)=(sin70)/(18.2)

(0.88)/(b)=(0.94)/(18.2)

b=((0.88)(18.2))/(0.94)=17.09

Therefore measurement of side b will be 17.1

In triangle ABC, a = 18.2, ∠B = 62°, and ∠C = 48°. Find b 15-example-1
