Answer: The approximate percent increase = 33.3%

Explanation:

Given : A count went up from 450 to 600.

i.e. Previous count = 450

New count = 600

The increase in price = (New count)- (Previous count)

=600-450 = 150

Now , the percent increase =

\frac{\text{Increase in price}}{\text{Previous price}}*100\\\\=(150)/(450)*100\\\\=(100)/(3)\%=33.3333\%\approx33.3\%

Hence, the approximate percent increase = 33.3%
