The graph of the function is f(x)= x2 − 4x + 6 . What is its axis of symmetry?

to find the axis of symmetry you must first find the vertex of the parabola.  The formula for vertex is -b/2a.  So the vertex has a "x" coordinate at 4/2 or 2.  so the axis of symmetry is the vertical line x = 2
