8(7x - 1) + 4(x + 5)
Simplify.
56x - 8 + 4x + 20
Add like terms.
(56x + 4x) + (-8 + 20)
Simplify.
60x + 12

Step 1: Distribute
56x - 8 + 4x + 20
Step 2: Combine like terms
60x + 12
60x + 12
