A reflection of the function
y=f(x) in the x-axis forms from the function
y=f(x) th function
y=-f(x).

When reflecting the function
f(x)=x^2+3 in the x-axis, you will get the function

g(x)=-f(x)=-(x^2+3).

Eliminate brackets, then

g(x)=-x^2-3.
