Answer : The pressure inside the cylinder is, 10.95 atm

Solution :

using ideal gas equation,

PV=nRT

where,

n = number of moles of gas = 8 moles

P = pressure of the gas = ?

T = temperature of the gas = 50 K

R = gas constant = 0.0821 Latm/moleK

V = volume of gas =
3dm^3=3L

Now put all the given values in the above equation, we get the pressure of gas.

P* 3L=8mole* 0.0821L.atm/moleK* 50K

P=10.95atm

Therefore, the pressure inside the cylinder is, 10.95 atm

The pressure inside the cylinder is 1,108,588 Pascal or 1,108.58 KiloPascal based on the information shown in the question above. This question can be solved using the ideal gas law which stated as pV=nRT where p is the pressure, v is the gas volume, n is the gas mole amount, T is the temperature, and R is the gas constant of 8.31441 J K^-1 mol^-1. (Calculation: p = nRT/v --> 1,108,588 = 8*8.31441*0.003)
