A solid figure has a length of 4 inches and a width of 6 inches. The product of the length times the height is 12 square inches.What is the volume of the solid figure, in cubic inches?

Volume of the solid figure=
l×w×h where l represent length, w represent width, h represent height

We know that the product of the length times the width equal 12 square inches,so
l×h=12,and we know that the length is 4 inches

4×h=12
Divided 4 for both side
h=3 inches

V=l×w×h
V=4×3×6
V=72 square inches. As a result, the volume of the solid figure is 72 square inches. Hope it help!
